Page: 1

Medium: Pencil and Ink
Art Type: Splash Page
Artist(s): Barry Windsor-Smith
  pencils and inks

This is the original art for page 1 of the story "The Boy Who Loved Trees" from Warren Publishings' Vampirella #9 (1970). Awesome original art by the great Barry Windsor-Smith, who first made his mark in comics by bring Robert E. Howard's Conan to life for Marvel Comics. The art area is a whopping 14" by 20", larger than twice-up art! The introductory paragraph is a pasted on stat, with the original underneath. There's a little whiteout around the stat and a touch in the bottom border.
