This is the original art for the Rusty Riley newspaper strip dated 3-15-1956. The artwork is by Frank Godwin, a wonderful artist. This is drawn on strathmore type board, and the art area is about 5+1/4" by 18+1/2". This is in nice, clean shape, with some glue staining showing under the zip-a-tone, and some light soiling around the borders. There's a light glare reflected from the zip-a-tone on the left-hand side of the first panel and on the right-hand side of the last panel in my photo, but the art looks just fine!
