THIS IS NOT ORIGINAL ART! This is a custom made, one-of-a-kind reproduction of the Kirby/Ayers splash from Journey into Mystery #76 (1962/Marvel). This was made for display by a collector. It's a film positive shot directly from the original art, full size (12.5" by 18.5"), then hand painted on the back by a special effects pro using animation cell paint(like a giant plastic animation cell). It comes with a custom color co-ordinated mat, and it's encased in shrinkwrap to keep it from being damaged. A really cool display piece! I have 3 different ones up on the site, too.
