Grandenetti Surreal Horror Splash for DC's Unexpected
Issue: The Unexpected # 132 Page: 1
Jerry Grandenetti was active in comics since the dawn of the Golden Age, when he worked with Will Eisner on The Spirit. He worked in all genres, but I think his horror work really stands out, with his strange, impressionistic style really adding an eerie atmosphere to the story. He did a lot of great work for Warren Magazines and DC Comics. This was drawn for DC's The Unexpected # 132 in 1972. It's current size art, in pretty nice shape, with some touches of whiteout, some blue production lines, and some small holes in the bottom right hand corner of the page which don't affect the art.
