This original art was used for the cover of Love Problems and Advice Illustrated # 35 (1955/Harvey). The artist is Al Avison. The art area measures 10+1/2" X 16". and it's in fair condition. Avison drew the cover a little too large, so the art extends under the borders which were created by cutting a window in a separate board and pasting it on top of the heavy board that the art is on. The title stats are glued to the border board. The "Make-Believe Lover" description at the top of the art is original art that has been pasted on. The man on the left's head is original art pasted over other original art. There is some use of white-out. Even though the numbering on the cover is # 37, this art was used for # 35. I will add a scan of the printed cover in a link above this description box. Also, the printed cover uses this art unchanged, so I don't know why there is a glue stain across the middle of the art.
